Scarab table

Research, design and make 2007

 

The Scarab table is the result of a research project in how to dye

through veneers for use in marquetry. The result of the project was

a succesful method on how to acheive dyed-through veneer.

The table uses dyed-trough birch veneers and pewter in a marquetry,

as well as black stained solid oak.
