Sub-lugarer, Stokkøya
Interior design
PIR 2 Architects has designed a hotel on the island of Stokkøy,
east of Trondheim, Norway. The hotel consists of a row of rooms,
“sub-lugarer”, where each room has been given a theme.
Furniture have been designed and made on sight. Materials found
in the area have set the boundaries for the design. Mixed with design
objects chosen together with the hotel owners, the result is a personal
and exentric, yet intruiging and unique interior design.
Co-designed with Ulf N Jevin and Ronja Svenning Berge, amongst others.
